Forth Bridges Accordion Band

I am the band master and have been playing the accordion since i was around 7 years old. I live in Rosyth, Fife with my son Connor who plays the bass drum in the band. My daughter and son in law play the side drum and my grandson plays the triangle. We are keeping misic in the family lol.

Still at the early stages of getting a good tune out my accordion.  I'm a married professional with two kids, (15 + 12), who think mum has a strange hobby.  I work shifts and miss some of the band practice nights and events.  I've been made to feel very welcome and my absences or commitment have not been questioned.  They are a friendly, welcoming diverse group. 

I'm Alan. I am the Events Co-ordinator and Treasuer.  I am the person who has you out walking for miles in the rain every weekend and has you up from 6am waiting on a bus.  I live in Bo'ness with my partner and dog.  Abbey (the dog) wants to join the band but she refuses to get out of her bed before 9am and has a drink problem at weekends so is no use to us lol.  I qualfied as a primary school teacher in 2002 and now am a teacher in Bo'ness.  I decided to form a band (with encouragement from my other half) in July 2008. 

I am the band secretary, im the one thats responsible for the letters you get when you have been naughty, lol. Live in Dunfermline,Fife. Married with a great son Jack (who plays triangle in the band). I am a side drummer (or i try to be) in the band and am married to the leading side drummer in the band, he is almost as good as me lol.
